FlatC Marine Offshore Limited is proud to announce that its Ghanaian-owned vessel, MV Flat Confidence, has emerged as the winner of the 2025 OPSEALOG Fuel Challenge. This prestigious recognition highlights the vessel’s outstanding performance in fuel efficiency, operational discipline, and environmental responsibility within the offshore maritime sector.
The award positions MV Flat Confidence as a benchmark for sustainable marine operations and underscores FlatC Marine’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and responsible shipping practices.
The vessel Flat Confidence is the first and only Ghanaian Owned and managed vessel in the entire Ghanaian Offshore Industry. The vessel is owned by FLATC MARINE OFFSHORE LTD which is owned by three Ghanaians – Capt Michael Norteye, a retired Ship Captain who worked as a captain in Offshore with Emas Offshore in Singapore for many years. Ing George Fiadonu – retired Chief Engineer with vast experience as Chief Engineer with Tide Water Inc of Singapore; and Dr. Matthew Apedo who is a Medical Specialist with many years of experience in Critical Care medicine, in New York.
